Chemical Engineer
Responsibilities:
The Chemical Engineer must develop, design and enhance products or processes to provide innovative solutions.
Design and optimize liquid transfer and blending systems.
Screen potential new raw materials and chemical compositions for safety and chemical hygiene requirements.
Must assist the sales team and senior management by providing equipment quotes and general information as necessary.
Must evaluate, analyze, and provide contractor quotes for new and existing projects.
Maintain contact with customers to ensure it meets or exceeds customer satisfaction with respect to chemical engineering projects.
The Chemical Engineer must travel to equipment vendors to observe, analyze, and evaluate new equipment solutions.
Must assist in production line assembly or set up.
Provide technical support for customer meetings, trials, and other events as required.
Provide supervision for equipment and facility design and installations.
The Chemical Engineer must train maintenance and production personnel in new equipment and processes.
Must develop cost-saving solutions for both internal use as well as for applications to customers in the manufacturing of their product.

Qualifications:
The Chemical Engineer must hold a degree in Chemical EngineeringMust have expertise in fluid dynamics, steam boiler systems, liquid blending, cooling systems and facility designMust have a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a similar manufacturing fieldRequires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Must have excellent communication and analytical skills.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, area, and volume.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) along with Google Suite, Microsoft Outlook, and AutoCAD.
