Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for the complete manufacture of products through creating routing steps, CNC programming, tooling call-outs, fixturing, setup sheets, process prints, MPP's (manufacturing process plan) and the setting of time standards for both new and current products.
o Responsible for the successful launch of new products. Provide leadership and be involved on the shop floor during the process.
o Assists the shop floor with day to day manufacturing issues.
o Interacts with Product Engineering, Operations, Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure design for manufacturing ability of new products. Participates in design review process.
o Determines cause and corrective actions to resolve issues involving noncompliant product or material. Assists others in root cause and failure analysis as required.
o Develops and maintains robust, cost efficient manufacturing processes and product structures consistent with lean manufacturing practices.
o Responsible for supporting existing products.
o Recommends and implements cost reductions by improving tooling, processing, and equipment use.
o Implements methods and practices to reduce variation and improve efficiency.
o Manages their projects and conducts project reviews as needed to ensure successful and timely completion of projects.
o Performs tool testing to find the most cost effective and efficient tools for the manufacture of products.
o Analyzes and recommends equipment for the manufacture of products. With the recommendation of capital purchases, does the payback analysis of the purchase.
o Provide manufacturing input on costs, processes, and issues to assist in the customer quotation process.
o Develop and maintain all standard manufacturing processes relating to process development, equipment design, change management and process.
o Leads in the following areas: methods, tools, jigs and fixtures, equipment, product and tooling cost estimates, work simplification and method improvements.
Qualifications:
o Four year degree preferred with a minimum of five (5) years manufacturing engineering experience in a tight tolerance machining environment.
o Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
o Strong background in machining and assembly.
o Excellent
computer
skills required.
o Common sense approach to production problems and ability to implement change when necessary.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately, effectively and efficiently.
o Good communications skills - written and oral. Must have very strong interpersonal skills to deal with all types of employees.
o Requires good technical and problem solving skills.
o 3D CAD experience required.
o Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem solving (e.g. 8D, A3, etc.) required.
o Capable of lifting 50 pounds.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
