Our client is one of the world's largest contract manufacturers of consumer packaged goods.
This client is looking to hire a Director of Quality at their Port Washington, WI facility.
The Director of Quality has the responsibility to provide policy, monitoring and reporting of all quality activities for the company outside of the duties defined for the Director of Quality Regulatory Compliance. Is responsible for establishing long and short range goals and objectives, operating philosophy, practices, procedures and standards as they relate to quality matters, consistent with corporate business plans; disseminates to each manufacturing site. Ensures that quality control and quality assurance procedures and specifications required to ensure compliance to customer quality system requirements and that regulated systems established through the Regulatory Compliance group are implemented. The primary focus of this position is on current manufacturing and execution of quality system requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with emphasis in a natural science
5 years in Quality Assurance or Quality Control Senior Management.
Proficient on a PC including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proven safety record
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day

An Ideal candidate would have the following abilities:
Effectively direct all activities within quality department
Effectively oversee budget for Quality compliance function
Oversee internal and external audits and reviews for corrective action
Read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management
Advanced mathematical concepts and validity, analysis of variance, sampling theory and factor analysis.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
