Mechanical Project Engineer
Staff Management - SMX is currently hiring for a Direct Hire Opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer for our client at their busy manufacturing facility in Port Washington, WI .
The primary purpose of the Mechanical Project Engineer is to provide solutions for new and existing production and applications while adding technical expertise to the organization. You will collaborate with Customers, plant personnel, and management to achieve the successful completion of project and equipment improvements.
This position is based in Port Washington, but will be required to travel between local facilities regularly.
Duties and responsibilities:
+ Design, develop, and enhance customer products or equipment technology to provide solutions to complex problems.
+ Assist the sales team and senior management by providing equipment quotes and general information as requested.
+ Develop cost saving solutions for KTP both for internal use and for application to customers in the manufacturing of their products.
+ Provide manning for new and existing production applications.
+ Evaluate, analyze, and provide contractor quotes for new and existing projects.
+ Maintain contact with customers to ensure that KTP meets or exceeds customer satisfaction with respect to problem resolution
+ Travel to equipment vendors to observe, analyze, and evaluate new equipment solutions.
+ Assist in production line assembly or set up.
+ Train maintenance and production personnel on new equipment.
+ Provide technical support for customer meetings, trials, and other events as required.
+ Provide supervision for equipment and facility installations.
+ Bachelor?s Degree in required and 5-8 years relevant experience.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
+ Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear manner.
+ Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interests, area, and volume.
+ Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), experience with Google Suite and AutoCAD.
+ Proven ability to maintain confidentially and discretion with information.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
