Human Resources Representative

As an HR Representative, you'll have the opportunity to assist and support in all facets of Human Resources including: Recruitment, Compensation and Benefit Administration, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Talent Management, Communication and Compliance. Reporting directly to the Director Human Resources, this position will have dual responsibility for both the Port Washington and Manitowoc, WI locations with Port Washington, WI as the primary location.

Essential Job Functions:
Recruitment - salary, hourly, and temporary employees to include interviewing, advertising, background checks, on-boarding, orientation, processing new hires, and attending job fair as required. Development of Job Descriptions.
Compensation - Annual salary planning, mid-year and on-going market adjustments, hourly increases, bi-weekly payroll.
Benefits - manage open enrollment process for the business unit; coordinate FMLA, field employee questions. Assist with audits as required.
Labor Relations - Administer Company Policy consistently, attend labor/mgmt. meetings as required, coordinate workforce reductions, lay-offs and recalls, conduct investigations to resolve employee conflict, and assist with employee discipline.
Talent Management - Coordinate performance review process, conduct various training as needed, and assist managers with employee development.
Terminations/Promotions - assist managers with the promotion process and process terminations/retirees as needed.
Compliance - working knowledge of state/federal employment laws and regulations. Maintaining compliance with I-9's, required postings, organizational charts, ISO, and SOX. Development of an AAP. Maintaining accurate HRIS files.
Communication - Assist with various employee meetings, submit information for Company newsletters, publish various memos, etc. Coordinate various employee surveys and assist with audits as required.
Employee Relations - assist with special events to include, Service Recognition awards, employee events, special meals and recognitions, etc.
Safety - Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards, perform job functions in a safe manner, wear all PPE required by Company Policy were required, know & follow established job specific and facility wide safety & health procedures and rules, participate in safety and health training & demonstrate competency based on training received, and bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to managements attention or correct those you can.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred, 8 years of related experience in lieu a degree will be considered.
Human Resources experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills to include listening.
Normal office environment with exposure to shop floor.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
